Robin Uthappa, Imran Tahir, and Colin Munro Set to Shine in the 2023 Abu Dhabi T10 Edition:
The Abu Dhabi T10’s eight teams have finalized their player selections in the 2023 Players Draft, marking the official start of another thrilling season.
The Bangla Tigers secured prominent signings in the form of former Sri Lanka Captain Kusal Mendis and India’s hard-hitting batsman Robin Uthappa. They also added pace to their squad with Reece Topley.
The Chennai Braves made a valuable acquisition in veteran spinner Imran Tahir, known for his exceptional skills in various leagues. Meanwhile, the defending champions, the Deccan Gladiators, made bold moves by bringing in Sherfane Rutherford and Fabian Allen. They prioritized all-rounders by selecting David Wiese as their first optional pick.
The Delhi Bulls added fast bowler Naveen-ul-Haq and Sri Lankan youngster Dunith Wellalage to their roster. The Morrisville Samp Army’s strategy focused on youth, with signings like young England all-rounder George Garton and Netherlands fast bowler Bas de Leede.
The New York Strikers included Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Odean Smith in their team and designated Lasith Croospule as their Emerging player. The Northern Warriors chose Kiwi batting-allrounder Colin Munro as their first draft pick and also secured Indian talent Ankur Sangwan and Abhimanyu Mithun.
Team Abu Dhabi strengthened their squad with Dwaine Pretorius, Colin Ingram, and Keemo Paul, among others.
