Russia has allegedly conducted its ninth aerial attack
According to Kiev Mayor Vitali Klitschko, Russia has allegedly conducted its ninth aerial attack on the Ukrainian capital this month. Klitschko stated in a Telegram post that falling debris caused a fire in a garage in the Darnitsya area of Kiev, but fortunately, no injuries were reported.
The military administration of Kiev stated that preliminary information suggests that all incoming missiles were successfully intercepted and destroyed. Serhiy Popko, the head of the military administration, claimed that the attack involved heavy missiles launched from Russian strategic bombers over the Caspian Sea.
He also mentioned that Russia had deployed reconnaissance drones over Kiev following the series of air strikes. Another fire was reported in a non-residential building in the Desnyansky area of the city, but specific details regarding injuries or damages were not provided. Additionally, explosions were heard in the central Ukrainian regions of Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi, and Zhytomyr.
Ukraine claimed to have shot down six Kinzhal hypersonic missiles as part of a densely packed attack on Tuesday. Tragically, at least eight people, including a five-year-old boy, were reportedly killed, and 17 others were injured near Kherson as a result of shelling on Wednesday.
