96 starring Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha in the lead roles has created a sensation at Kollywood box office. The Kollywood audience has blown away with the content of the film and it has a bagged a blockbuster hit at the ticket window.As we all know, Dil Raju has acquired the remake rights of the film and initially, the makers have asked Dil Raju to dub the film in Telugu but this ace producer who was mesmerized by the content of the film has decided to go for a Telugu remake. Though Dil Raju has decided to remake none of the heroes have been worked out for the lead role of the film.
After making several desperate attempts, Dil Raju has finally zeroed in the lead actors for this official Telugu remake.The young talented actor Sharwanand reprises the role of Vijay Sethupathi in the film and Samantha plays the role of Trisha. The pre-production works of the film are currently wrapping up in a brisk pace. Directed by Prem Kumar(the original director of Tamil 96), this film is slated to get onto the floors from February 2019 aiming for the theatrical release in Dussehra.
