After marrying to her boyfriend Naga Chaitanya, Samantha is shaking the Telugu film industry with back to back successful films namely Rangasthalam, Mahanati and recently released U-Turn. Now, she is now preparing for her role from her upcoming movie which is an official remake of the Korean blockbuster movie ‘Miss Granny’. This Korean movie is about the story of a grandmother who magically finds herself as a 20 years young lady of her own after clicking a picture in a mysterious photo studio. This untitled movie of Samantha will be released in Telugu and Tamil languages directed by Nandini Reddy (Ala Modalaindi fame) and produced by Suresh Babu along with Sunitha Tati.
This film shoot is kick-started on today and Samantha has shared this news on her Twitter page and wrote “Prepping for my most interesting character yet … I’ve realised I get scared a lot, I am nervous all the time, but I have never not accepted a challenge. Sometimes, actually most times you are stronger than you think you are .. #newbeginnings”. Samantha is sharing the screen with her husband Akkineni Naga Chaitanya for the first time after their wedding in a film title ‘Majili’ directed by Shiva Nirvana (Ninnu Kori fame). This film recently completed its shoot in Vishakapatnam and now the shoot is currently going on the sets in Hyderabad.
