Samsung Galaxy S20 series With 120Hz Displays Launched, all specs for reference

Samsung Galaxy S20 specifications: The Samsung Galaxy S20 is the least of the group, including 151.7×69.1×7.9mm in dimensions and weighing 163 grams. It emphasizes a 6.2-inch Infinity-O Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, with 2K resolution and a pixel count of 563ppi. It’s HDR10 certified and holds a display refresh rate of 120Hz. The Smartphone is powered by a 7nm octa-core processor and depending on your country and the variant you choose, you’ll either get one with a Samsung Exynos 990 SoC or a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC.

The Galaxy S20 arises with either 8GB or 12GB (5G version only) of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of storage, for the LTE variant. The following is expandable via a microSD card (up to 1TB). You also get an Ultrasonic in-display biometric and face identification for authentication. The Galaxy S20 is IP68 accredited for dust and water protection. It carries 25W fast charging, Fast Wireless Charging 2.0, and reverse wireless charging too for the 4,000mAh battery.

The cameras get a big rise. The Galaxy S20 highlights a triple rear sensor, which combines a 12-mp wide-angle camera with an f/1.8 aperture, and OIS; a 12-mp ultra-wide-angle lens with an f/2.2 aperture; and a 64-mp telephoto lens with an f/2.0 aperture, PDAF, and OIS. Some of the new camera highlights incorporate a 3x hybrid optical zoom, and a new shot mode named ‘Single Take,’ which takes a small video, along with a photo from all the sensors, for different views. The selfie camera lens consists of a 10-megapixel sensor with an f/2.2 aperture.

Other specs incorporate One UI 2.1 based on Android 10, dual-band Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5, NFC, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos sound. It will also be accessible in single or dual SIM models, depending on the country.

Samsung Galaxy S20+ specifications: The Galaxy S20+ is very comparable to the Galaxy S20, but it varies in size, battery size, and you also get an additional rear camera. The Galaxy S20+ measures 161.9×73.7×7.8mm in dimensions and are more massive at 186 grams (188 grams for the 5G variant). It also has a somewhat larger, 4,500mAh battery. The LTE variant gets 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage while the 5G model gets 12GB of RAM and an option of 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB of storage. The front and rear camera contours continue the same too, besides the addition of a back depth camera.

In terms of the display, you get a 6.7-inch 2K Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, with a pixel number of 525ppi and an Infinity-O hole-punch design.

Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra specifications: Lastly, we come to the most important phone in the series, the Galaxy S20 Ultra. It highlights a 6.9-inch 2K Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen with a pixel count of 511ppi. The Galaxy S20 Ultra appears with either 12GB or 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM, while storage varies from 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB for both the LTE and 5G models. The battery size has also been knocked up to 5,000mAh. The Galaxy S20 Ultra also supports 45W fast charging.

The Galaxy S20 Ultra covers 166.9x76x8.8mm in dimensions and measures 220 grams. Some of the camera lenses also improved over the other two devices. Aside from the wide-angle and depth lens, the primary lens is a 108-mp sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, OIS, PDAF and you get a 48-megapixel telephoto sensor with an f/3.5 aperture, PDAF, OIS. The Galaxy S20 Ultra also highlights a new periscope-style telephoto camera, which enables it to deliver 10x hybrid optical zoom and maximum Super-Resolution Zoom of up to 100x. The front sensor is also a 40-megapixel sensor with an f/2.2 aperture.
