During a meeting between Microsoft Chairman and CEO Satya Nadella and Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the US, the discussion included various topics, with a particular focus on how Artificial Intelligence (AI) can enhance the lives of Indians.
While the details of the conversation were not disclosed, Microsoft expressed its commitment to the growth of Indian technology, recognizing India’s vibrant developer and start-up ecosystems. In a previous visit to India, Nadella praised Prime Minister Modi’s digital vision and the initiatives launched under it, stating that they were creating remarkable digital public goods with global significance.
Nadella specifically highlighted the India Stack, a collection of open APIs and digital public goods aimed at facilitating identity, data, and payment solutions at a large scale. He expressed his enthusiasm for supporting India in realizing its Digital India vision and becoming a beacon for the world.
