State Bank of India (SBI) is the largest banking sector in India and many people include government employees are handling their cash transactions using their SBI accounts. Now, SBI has imposed a new restriction on their customers. It has restricted the daily cash withdrawal limit to Rs. 20,000 per day on selected debit cards. The customers having Maestro and Classic debit cards are now able to withdraw their money from the ATMs at Rs. 20,000 per day only.
This restriction on the withdrawal limit on these selected cards with effect from Wednesday.If you are an SBI customer and think that you are going to draw more than Rs. 20,000 cash in a day, then upgrade your debit cards to SBI’s Master card or VISA card. Previously, SBI was imposed strange restrictions on their customers to limit their transactions as five transactions only via ATMs in a month.
