Second Round of Questioning for Nara Lokesh in Inner Ring Road Scam:
In the ongoing investigation into the Amaravati Inner Ring Road scam case, Andhra Pradesh CID continued its questioning of Nara Lokesh, the TDP general secretary, for the second consecutive day on Wednesday.
Lokesh reached the CID’s Economic Offences Wing-II office in Tadepalli, located in Guntur district, at 9:55 a.m.
A day earlier, the CID issued a second notice to Lokesh, summoning him under Section 41 A of CrPC.
The Inner Ring Road (IRR) scam centers around alleged irregularities in the construction of an internal ring road in Amaravati city. The CID’s investigation suggests that the road’s alignment was altered to provide undue advantages to companies associated with TDP leaders, including Chandrababu Naidu.
