Senior Producer Ashwini Dutt dedicates Mahanati to Sridevi

Nag Ashwin is currently busy wrapping up the production work of ‘Mahanati’ movie. The movie is a biopic on legendary actress Savithri garu. Keerthi Suresh is reprising the Savithri garu on the silver screen. Star producer Ashwini Dutt is bankrolling the project on Vyjayanthi Movies banner.
The death of Sridevi not only left avacuum in her family but in the whole nation. Her beauty, screen presence, innocence, glamour, dance, acting, and what not, she is one of the rarest women to ever grace the silver screen. Ashwini Dutt had a strong bonding with Sridevi after he produced two films with her playing the female lead. ‘Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari’ (Chiranjeevi and Sridevi) and ‘Akhari Poratam’ (Nagarjuna and Sridevi) were produced by Ashwini Dutt.
The star producer stated that his upcoming production ‘Mahanati’ is dedicated to Sridevi. Speaking at a press meet, Ashwini Dutt said, ‘the demise of Sridevi has left every one of us shocked.
We are still not able to come to terms regarding her sudden death. She has been an inspiration to almost every heroine in who entered film industry when Sridevi was ruling. I dedicate ‘Mahanati’ in memory of the ‘Athiloka Sundari’ Sridevi’.
