Charming Star Sharwanand is teaming up with director Sreenu Vaitla for the first time for an out-and-out family entertainer titled George Krish. The film has been officially announced for a grand Sankranthi 2027 release on January 14.
Presented by ATV and produced by Ramabrahmam Sunkara under the AK Entertainments banner, with Ajay Sunkara serving as co-producer, the project is expected to offer a refreshing blend of family entertainment and romance.
The makers unveiled the film’s title and release date through an attractive festive poster. The creative hourglass-inspired treatment of the title adds an interesting touch and hints at the narrative’s romantic elements.
The film was formally launched today with a traditional pooja ceremony. Producer Suresh Babu switched on the camera, while MLA Talasani Srinivas Yadav sounded the clapboard. Director Sreenu Vaitla directed the first shot, marking the beginning of the project.
With Sharwanand and Sreenu Vaitla coming together for the first time, George Krish has already generated curiosity among moviegoers. More details about the cast and crew are expected to be announced soon.
