The recent IT raids on Sasikala and Co. were expected. But the latest raids on Sasikala are revealing some shocking facts about the ‘Chinnamma’ and her aides. From close sources, it is learnt that Sasikala is controlling property and possessions worth 30,000 Crores. If the raids are to be continued, and further investigation is carried into her disproportionate assets, it is likely that a mammoth of 50,000 crores might be discovered in this operation. One shouldn’t blame Sasikala for all of that money. Though people accept it or not, even the Late CM Jayalalithaa too might be having a major part of the speculated assets.
If the government officers are able to accumulate 350 – 500 crores as black money, it wouldn’t be surprising to see if Chief Ministers managed to accumulate in tens of thousands of crores black money.
From the outset, many people believe that IT raids on Sasikala are nothing but for ‘political gains’. If Modi wants the nation to believe that these IT raids are genuine, then those 10,000 families should also be targeted. A report stated that more than 10,000 families of various political leaders are attached to black money. In a world, were industrialists with debts in thousands of crores flee the nation with ease, it would be a superhuman task for Modi to curb the corrupted.
