Shruti Haasan has a number of big budget projects in her Kitty and she is waiting for the release of jana Sena Chief and the actor Power Star Pawan Kalyan starrer film Vakeel Saab, which is magnum opus of Venu Sriram. It is worth mentioning that Shruti Haasan has earlier worked with Pawan Kalyan in the hit film Gabbar Singh which was released in 2015. The court room drama Vakeel Saab, marks the second collaboration between Pawan Kalyan and Shruti Haasan.
Recently during the media interaction, Shruti Haasan talked about the social message in Vakeel Saab that addresses misogyny, consent and women issues in the country.Gabbar Singh and Krack fame Shruti Haasan added, “Making the movies like Vakeel Saab is important. And then, if you have someone like Power Star Pawan Kalyan who can influence the masses, it’s great. Anybody in the position of influence using it to provoke thought is powerful.”
Apart from Pawan Kalyan and Shruti Haasan, the film Vakeel Saab also has Nivetha Thomas who has stepped into the shoes of Taapsee Pannu, Anjali and Ananya Nagalla have reprised the roles of Kirti Kulhari and Andrea Tariang from the original Hindi National award winning movie Pink.
