The highly anticipated movie Thug Life, reuniting legends Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam after 30 years, has hit a rough patch. Filming began last year, but things haven’t been smooth sailing.
Haasan’s busy political schedule has caused delays, leading actors Dulquer Salmaan and Jayam Ravi to jump ship from the project due to scheduling conflicts.
However, there’s a silver lining! Reports say actor Simbu has aced his look test and is ready to join the cast soon. An official announcement about who will replace Dulquer is expected shortly.
Thug Life is a joint production by Haasan, Ratnam, R. Mahendran, and Siva Ananth. Udhayanidhi Stalin is backing the film, with AR Rahman on music duties. Trisha Krishnan takes the lead female role, while Joju George and Gautham Karthik play important parts.
