Film ‘Sita Ramam’ Honored with Award at 13th Dada Saheb Phalke Film Festival

The makers of “Sita Ramam” recently announced that the film won an award at the 13th Dada Saheb Phalke Film Festival, held in Delhi on April 30th. The film was awarded the Best Film – Jury of the Year 2023 category.

Last year’s blockbuster “Sita Ramam” is an epic periodic love story that won the hearts of audiences with its emotional portrayal of Lieutenant Ram and Sita Mahalakshmi.

The film, directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, starred Dulquer Salmaan and Mrunal Thakur in the lead roles and was released in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, and Malayalam, grossing a total of 90 crores worldwide. The film’s exceptional on-screen chemistry and good plotline made it one of the best love stories in the Telugu film industry.

The producers, Aswini Dutt, Swapna Dutt, and Priyanka Dutt, under the banners Vyjayanthi Movies and Swapna Cinema, expressed their gratitude for the prestigious recognition. The film also starred Rashmika Mandanna, Sumanth, and Tharun Bhascker in significant roles, with sensational music composed by Vishal Chandrasekhar.
