As anticipation builds for War 2, starring Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR, fans have been eagerly awaiting promotional events leading up to the film’s grand release on August 14, 2025. Directed by Ayan Mukerji and featuring Kiara Advani as the female lead, the spy action thriller is expected to be one of the year’s biggest releases.
Recently, rumors flooded social media suggesting a Telugu pre-release event was in the works, with speculation pointing to Vijayawada as the venue. Reports even claimed that both Hrithik and Tarak would be sharing the stage for the first time during the promotional tour.
However, Sithara Entertainments, which holds the Telugu distribution rights, has officially debunked these rumors.
“The reports being circulated about the War 2 event are mere speculations. No venue has been confirmed yet. We will let you know as soon as it is officially finalized,” said a statement from the production house.
For now, fans who were hoping to witness a rare public appearance of Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR together will have to wait. While a Telugu event is likely to be part of the promotions, nothing has been finalized at this point.
With just weeks to go, expect major promotional activity to ramp up soon across Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil markets. Until then, all eyes remain on the official announcements from Naga Vamsi and the War 2 team.
