Actor Sivakarthikeyan has earned appreciation from netizens for a thoughtful gesture towards his upcoming film’s director, Ramkumar Balakrishnan. The National Award-winning filmmaker recently shared his happiness on social media after receiving a special gift from the actor.
The Parking director revealed that Sivakarthikeyan gifted him an iPhone 18 Pro and expressed his gratitude through a social media post. He wrote, “Got a lovable surprise from Sivakarthikeyan anna. Thanks for the gift, na. Really means a lot!”
While actors and producers often present gifts to their team members after a film’s success, receiving such an expensive surprise while a project is still in production is relatively uncommon. Sivakarthikeyan’s gesture has consequently received positive reactions from fans and netizens.
Meanwhile, Sivakarthikeyan is working on his upcoming action entertainer, tentatively titled SK27, directed by Ramkumar Balakrishnan. The actor was last seen in Parasakthi and has now joined hands with the filmmaker for this new project.
Produced by Sathya Jyothi Films, the film features Kayadu Lohar as the female lead, while Sai Abhyankkar is composing the music. The shooting is currently underway.
The makers are reportedly planning an April 30, 2027 release. However, the release date is yet to receive official confirmation.
With shooting progressing and the team sharing positive moments from the sets, expectations surrounding this Sivakarthikeyan project are gradually building.
