Sivakarthikeyan is back with yet another action-packed entertainer, this time teaming up with star director AR Murugadoss.
The film, titled Madharaasi, is set for a September 5th release, and its trailer promises high-octane action while showcasing the Tamil star in a never-before-seen avatar.
Marking his return to Tamil cinema after a long gap, Vidyut Jammwal takes on the main antagonist role, adding intensity to the narrative. The film also features Rukmini Vasanth as the female lead, with her role reportedly carrying equal weight in the storyline. Music is composed by Anirudh, whose thumping background score amplifies the drama and action.
The story revolves around the drug mafia and how gangs from other states infiltrate Chennai, sparking chaos and violence. Murugadoss presents this with large-scale action, emotional depth, and a strong social message—his signature touch.
After the setback of Salman Khan’s Sikandar, AR Murugadoss seems to be back in form, bringing an action drama that blends gunfights, raw emotion, and mass moments tailor-made for Sivakarthikeyan.
