On December 6, Sony will introduce the PS5’s “Access Controller” to all countries.
Sony has announced that the ‘Access controller’ for PlayStation 5 (PS5) will be available globally on December 6, with preorders beginning on July 21. The controller will have a suggested retail price of $89.99. The Access Controller offers customization options, allowing users to personalize the layout with different buttons and stick caps in various shapes and designs. It can be operated from any 360-degree orientation and has four industry-standard 3.5mm expansion ports to connect third-party accessibility accessories.
The controller supports mapping buttons for up to 30 control profiles, adjusting stick settings, toggling commands on/off, and disabling buttons to prevent accidental pressing. Users will also be able to pair up to two Access controllers with one DualSense wireless controller for collaborative use. Preorders for the Access controller will be available in select countries, including the US, UK, France, Germany, and others, through PlayStation’s website and select retailers.
