Spider-Man: Brand New Day has created box office history by delivering the biggest domestic opening weekend of all time. After setting a new opening-day benchmark, the superhero spectacle collected a massive $360 million during its first weekend in the domestic market.

Initial estimates suggested that the film might narrowly miss the record held by Avengers: Endgame, which earned $357.1 million during its opening weekend. However, stronger-than-expected Sunday collections helped Spider-Man: Brand New Day surpass the Marvel blockbuster and claim the top position.

Only a handful of films have managed to cross the $300 million mark in their domestic opening weekends. The movies occupying the third and fourth positions are reportedly nearly $100 million behind Spider-Man: Brand New Day and Avengers: Endgame, highlighting the extraordinary dominance of these two films.

At the worldwide box office, Spider-Man: Brand New Day collected an impressive $932 million within three days. However, it remained behind Avengers: Endgame, which earned approximately $1.2 billion globally during its opening weekend.
