The wait is over! The makers of Prabhas’ much-awaited silver jubilee film have finally confirmed the Spirit movie cast, putting an end to the speculation about who would play the female lead. After Bollywood star Deepika Padukone opted out of the film, all eyes were on who would step in — and now, it’s official: Tripti Dimri has been cast opposite Prabhas.
This marks Tripti’s second collaboration with director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, following their successful outing in Animal. Her captivating screen presence and emotional performance in that film earned her wide acclaim and more big-banner opportunities. Now, she takes a major leap by joining forces with a pan-India superstar like Prabhas.
Spirit is jointly produced by T-Series and Bhadrakali Pictures, and is expected to begin filming in the latter half of the year. Prabhas will be donning the role of a fierce cop in this high-octane action drama. With a powerful combo of talent and story, the movie promises to be a major cinematic event.
