Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit, starring Prabhas in the lead, continues to be one of the most anticipated upcoming films. The project has generated significant buzz since its announcement, with expectations surrounding the collaboration between the actor and director running high.
However, questions have now emerged over Prabhas’ return to the sets.
Prabhas Yet to Join the Mumbai Schedule
Prabhas reportedly completed around 50 days of shooting for Spirit nearly two months ago. Following that schedule, the actor shifted his focus to Fauzi, another major project in his lineup, to complete his portions.
The expectation was that Prabhas would return to Spirit in September and begin the next leg of shooting. However, two months have passed since his previous schedule, and the actor is yet to join the ongoing proceedings.
The current Spirit schedule in Mumbai is reportedly taking place without Prabhas. This has left fans waiting for clarity on when the actor will return to the sets and resume work on the much-awaited project.
Fauzi Release Date Change Adds to Speculation
Meanwhile, Fauzi has officially moved away from its previously announced December 3, 2026 release date and is now expected to arrive in 2027.
The change has also triggered speculation about the release plans of Spirit. The Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial is currently scheduled to hit theatres on March 5, 2027, but there are now discussions about whether the date could also be revised.
However, there has been no official confirmation of any change to Spirit’s release date so far.
Vivek Oberoi to Play the Antagonist
Spirit is jointly produced by T-Series and Bhadrakali Pictures. Harshavardhan Rameshwar is composing the music for the film, while Vivek Oberoi is set to appear as the antagonist.
With Prabhas’ next schedule yet to be confirmed, attention remains on when the actor will return to the sets. More clarity on the shooting schedule and release plans is expected as production progresses.
