But, now here is a happy news for his fans i.e, Switzerland government is starting works for making her statue in Switzerland. And, they want to make that place as a tourist spot. They said: “Sridevi mam, came to Switzerland several times for shooting and because of her the tourists’ count was increased. So, we planned her statue in Switzerland. Actually, Switzerland government made the statue of Karan Johar earlier. He also caused to expose the Switzerland beauty by his movies. Really, it is a very good news to fans of Sridevi and a great honor also it is.
As like that, the glamorous lady Aishwarya Rai won “Meryl Streep award” in Washington at the Women in Film and Television (WIFT) India award event. Moreover, she attended along with her mother Brinda Rai and daughter Aaradhya. However, she is the first Indian celebrity of this honor. As like that, Jhanvi Kapoor also won the same award. Certainly, she proved herself as Sridevi’s daughter. And, Zoya Akhtar also honored with award there.
WIFT India is part of WIFT international, a network which promotes professional development and achievement for women in the film industry, media, and other screen-based media. Speaking about the award named after veteran Hollywood actor Meryl Streep, WIFT India founding president Petrina D’Rozario said: “Whether it is her extraordinary body of work or her charitable endeavors, Ms. Streep is an inspiration for all, our aim here is to encourage others to think outside the norm of gender-based hiring practices and give females of all nationalities an equal chance to vie in fields dominated by men,” she elaborated.
