Sridevi’s Mortal Remains Reach Green Acres

The legendary actress and Bollywood’s first female superstar Sridevi was found dead mysteriously in the hotel room in Dubai where she temporarily stayed during her nephew’s wedding celebrations. She passed away on February 24 in Dubai. Her untimely death is a big shocker to all her fans, friends and the whole film fraternity. Dubai police on Monday said, that Sridevi died of accidental drowning in her hotel bathtub after losing consciousness.

At last, after a long investigation procedure in Dubai, the mortal remains of the actor were brought back to India on Tuesday night on a private chartered flight. Upon landing Sridevi’s mortal remains were taken to her Lokhandwala residence ‘Green Acres’.

The condolence meeting for actress will be held on February 28 at Celebration Sports Club from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm, and is open for general public and fans to pay their last respects.  From here, the final journey will commence at 2 pm from celebrations sports club to Pawan Hans. Later, the funeral and last rights will be held at Vile Parle crematorium and Hindu Cemetery, next to Pawan Hans, SV Road, from 3:30 pm.
