Srisailam’s Dasara Mahotsavam Scheduled for October 15th:
The Srisailam Temple is set to commence its Dasara festivities on October 15. In preparation for this celebration, the temple authorities convened a planning meeting on Tuesday.
During the meeting, various aspects of the event were discussed, encompassing temple rituals for Sri Mallikarjuna Swamy and Bhramaramba Ammavaru, processions with deities, adornments for Sri Ammavaru, provisions for devotees, vehicle parking, guidelines for darshan, and arrangements for cultural programs.
Addressing the attendees, D. Peddiraju, the executive officer of the temple, emphasized the importance of seamless coordination among all departments to ensure the complete success of the celebrations. He stressed that devotees should not encounter any inconveniences during the event.
Among the decisions made during the meeting were the installation of an LED screen at Gangadhara Mandapam, allowing devotees to witness the ongoing temple events. Additionally, the horticulture department will adorn the surroundings with traditional flowers throughout the festive period.
