Superstar Mahesh Babu’s much-awaited collaboration with SS Rajamouli, tentatively titled SSMB29, has been the talk of the town ever since it went on floors. While fans have been curious about the film’s release date, another burning question has been whether this massive project will be a single film or made in two parts.
Now, fresh reports from the Kenyan daily The Star reveal that the film—being mounted on a whopping $135 million budget—is indeed planned as two parts. Though the team has yet to make an official statement, this has certainly fueled excitement among fans worldwide.
Recently, Rajamouli, producer KL Narayana, and the team met with Kenya’s Cabinet Secretary for Foreign Affairs, Musalia Mudavadi, who confirmed that the film will see a global release in 120 countries.
Adding to the anticipation, Rajamouli announced that the first look of SSMB29 will be unveiled in November 2025.
The epic adventure features an ensemble cast including Priyanka Chopra, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and others. Backed by Durga Arts and with music by Oscar winner MM Keeravaani, SSMB29 is shaping up to be a global cinematic spectacle with plenty of surprises in store.
