Su From So, the surprise blockbuster from Sandalwood, has taken everyone by storm by grossing over ₹120 crores worldwide. Initially released with little buzz, the film quickly gained momentum thanks to strong word of mouth, proving once again that content wins over star power.
The film’s post-theatrical OTT rights were acquired by Jio Hotstar, and early reports suggested that the horror comedy would premiere on September 5, 2025. However, the platform is yet to release an official confirmation, leaving fans curious about whether the film will arrive directly without prior notice or if the wait will continue a little longer.
Produced under Light Buddha Films by Raj B. Shetty, Su from So features Shaneel Gautham, J.P. Thuminad, Sandhya Arakere, Prakash Thuminad, Deepak Rai Panaje, and Mime Ramdas in lead roles. Interestingly, J.P. Thuminad not only played a key role but also directed the film, making it a double treat for fans.
