Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s Debut Production Subham Now Streaming on Jio Hotstar
Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s first venture as a producer, Subham, a quirky horror-comedy, made its theatrical debut on May 9, 2025. Directed by Praveen Kandregula of Cinema Bandi fame, the film received praise for its fresh take on horror with a comedic twist.
After a successful theatrical run, Subham is now available for streaming on Jio Hotstar. The platform has released the film in multiple Indian languages—Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Hindi, and Malayalam—to cater to a wider audience across the country.
The movie stars Harshith Reddy, Gavireddy Srinivas, Charan Peri, Shriya Kontham, Shravani Lakshmi, and Shalini Kondepudi in key roles, with a special cameo appearance by Samantha herself. Produced under the Tralala Moving Pictures banner, Subham features foot-tapping songs by Shor Police and a captivating background score composed by Vivek Sagar.
With its quirky storyline and vibrant performances, Subham is all set to win hearts in the OTT space just as it did in theaters.
