Suriya is enjoying a strong phase at the box office, with Karuppu emerging as a massive blockbuster this year and his recent release Vishwanath & Sons performing well in Telugu. The actor is now gearing up for another release, making it his third film to hit the screens this year.
The upcoming project is directed by Aavesham fame Jithu Madhavan and has already generated curiosity because of the combination of Suriya and the popular filmmaker. Reports suggest that Suriya will be seen in a full-fledged police role, marking his return to the cop genre after a considerable gap.
Adding to the intrigue, an interesting storyline about the film is currently circulating on social media. According to the speculation, Suriya is said to play a blind police officer in the movie. The reported story revolves around a cop who loses his eyesight while investigating a case. Years later, he is forced to revisit the same mystery when the case unexpectedly resurfaces.
If this reported storyline turns out to be true, it could offer Suriya a challenging and unconventional role while giving Jithu Madhavan plenty of scope for an intriguing investigative drama.
The speculation has already sparked curiosity among fans, but there is no official confirmation regarding the plot or Suriya’s character at this point. Audiences will have to wait for the film’s promotional material to determine whether the blind-cop storyline is genuine or simply a rumour.
Nazriya Nazim and Naslen are also playing important roles in the film, adding further interest to this highly anticipated collaboration.
