Swetha Basu began her film career as a Child Artist in Bollywood Movies. After that, she ventured into the South Indian Film Industry with motion pictures like Kothabangaram, ‘Ra’, ‘Chandamama’, et cetera. But, as she never got enough shots she went into prostitution racket and she was arrested by the Hyderabad police.

She rose to notoriety indeed after that serial. When she was caught in prostitution issues, Director Rohit Mittal was with her. Presently, Swetha Basu has chosen to wed the same Director. I proposed Rohit Mittal amid our visit to Goa. He acknowledged my proposition at Pune. Both our parents have acknowledged our relationship and even our commitment is finished. She also stated that the marriage date is not yet decided.
