Tamil Nadu CM Stalin Distributes Financial Assistance to Needy Artists:
Chief Minister M K Stalin presented financial aid to various destitute artists during a ceremony at the Secretariat. This assistance included a cash reward of Rs one lakh each to 10 impoverished recipients of the Kalaimamani Award on behalf of the Tamil Nadu Iyal, Isai, Nataka Mandram (literature, music, and dance association).
During the event, the Chief Minister distributed checks to six Kalaimamani awardees and five other struggling artists who were selected from the 500 members of the state Folk Artists Welfare Board to receive Rs 10,000 each. This funding is intended for the purchase of musical instruments and attire.
Stalin also provided monthly assistance of Rs 3,000 to six senior artists selected from a group of 1,000 beneficiaries.
