Nandamuri Balakrishna is set to team up with director Koratala Siva for an action entertainer after completing his current project with Gopichand Malineni. Although rumours recently surfaced claiming that the Balayya-Koratala project had been shelved, the makers firmly dismissed the reports and confirmed that the film is very much on track.
Arya Approached for a Cop Role?
The latest buzz surrounding the project is about its casting. According to a recent media report, Tamil actor Arya has been approached to play a powerful police officer in the film.
Arya has previously appeared in a special role in Venkatesh’s Saindhav, and his potential collaboration with Balakrishna and Koratala Siva has naturally generated curiosity. However, discussions are reportedly still underway, and an official confirmation regarding his involvement is awaited.
Koratala Busy With Pre-Production
Koratala Siva is currently focused on the pre-production work for the project. The filmmaker is expected to mount the action entertainer on a large scale, with more details about the story, cast and shooting schedule likely to emerge in the coming days.
Sudhakar Cherukuri and Sudhakar Mikkilineni will jointly produce the film under the SLV Cinemas and Yuvasudha Arts banners.
For now, Arya’s casting remains unconfirmed, but if the actor comes on board, his role could add another interesting dimension to this much-awaited Balakrishna-Koratala Siva collaboration.
