The Telugu Desam Party leaders are putting pressure on AP CM and TDP President Nara Chandrababu Naidu, asking him to officially severe ties with BJP. The MPs and MLAs are strictly against continuing the alliance with BJP even for one more day. After the Ministry of Finance made it clear that Special Category Status and Tax Incentives will not be granted to Andhra Pradesh, protests within TDP erupted.
Each and everyone in the Telugu Desam Party has expressed extreme dissatisfaction with the Centre and the Ministry of Finance. Meanwhile, responding to the demands by the TDP leaders, Chandrababu Naidu sought an opinion. Close sources to the CMO’s office confirmed that Chandrababu asked the TDP key leaders whether to take an immediate action or not.
Meanwhile, the TDP leaders have stated that they will back Chandrababu Naidu in whatever decision he takes. Speculations emerged that, AP CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu will make key announcements in AP Assembly tomorrow. The AP CM will put forward the ‘Motion of Thanks to President’s speech’ tomorrow. The key announcements are likely to come after the motion of thanks.
