TDP Nara Lokesh Accuses CM Jagan of Apprehension Amid Alliance Formation

Date:

Telugu Desam Party’s Nara Lokesh stated that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is feeling uneasy after TDP, Jana Sena Party, and BJP joined forces for the upcoming elections.

Lokesh highlighted that during TDP and BJP’s government in 2014, there were no attacks on Muslims, emphasizing their focus on minority welfare through initiatives like providing gifts during Ramzan and supporting mosque painting.

He expressed concern over increased attacks on minorities under Jagan Reddy’s rule, citing specific incidents like the suicides of Abdul Salam’s family and a girl named Misbhah, as well as the alleged killing of a minority leader named Ibrahim.

Encouraging minorities not to trust Jagan Mohan Reddy, Lokesh mentioned TDP’s representation of minority members in the Rajya Sabha and criticized Jagan Reddy for allegedly misleading people with his Siddham meetings.

In response, Jagan Mohan Reddy stated his readiness to combat the alliance, asserting YSRCP’s support for the weaker sections ahead of the simultaneous Lok Sabha and assembly polls in Andhra Pradesh.
