Teachers Have the Opportunity to Honor Their Educators:

At St. Paul’s High School in Hyderguda, teachers received a delightful surprise on Teachers’ Day: they were encouraged to bring their own tutor to a special event held on Monday.

Mamatha Thummala, an English teacher, extended an invitation to her English teacher, Neeraja Reddy, who traveled all the way from Hanamkonda to attend. Thummala expressed her gratitude, saying, “I owe my career as an English teacher to Neeraja ma’am. I struggled with English initially, but her extra efforts helped me catch up with my peers. She not only taught me the language but also assisted me in constructing sentences and mastering grammar.”

She continued, “A girl who once feared English went on to complete her master’s degree in the subject, all thanks to one exceptional teacher.”

Yolanda Catherine, a science teacher responsible for the primary section, invited her former teacher, Aileen Gay from Rosary Convent High School in Gunfoundry. This reunion filled the day with nostalgia and strengthened their connection. Catherine extended the invitation, which was promptly accepted, showcasing the profound desire of teachers to reconnect and share their experiences after many years.
