“Kumari Srimathi, a Telugu web series featuring Nithya Menon in the lead role, recently unveiled its motion poster on social media, teasing a comedy-drama. The series is set to premiere on Amazon Prime and is presented by Early Monsoon Tales (a web division of Vyjayanthi Movies) in collaboration with Swapna Cinema and Amazon Prime Video.”

Today, Keerthy Suresh unveiled the official teaser for the web series “Kumari Srimathi” on social media. The teaser introduces the Movie as an independent woman strongly opposed to the idea of marriage. “Kumari Srimathi” is set to start streaming on Amazon Prime from September 28th. The teaser is described by the creators as an invitation to laugh, cry, and cheer as Srimathi bravely faces life’s challenges.

Directed by Gomtesh Upadhye, the series boasts a screenplay, dialogues, and show concept by Srinivas Avasarala. The writing team includes Uday Aghamarshan, Kaushik Subrahmanya, Jayanth Tadinada, and Srinivas Avasarala, with a story by Balabhadrapatruni Ramani and Mallick Ram. The multilingual series will be available in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, and Malayalam and features Nirupam Paritala, Praneeta Patnaik, Thiruveer, Gauthami, Dr. Vijayakrishna Naresh, Mahesh Achanta, and Madhavi Latha in its cast.
