A 19-year-old teenager was arrested in Sydney, Australia, after allegedly stabbing a bus passenger. The incident took place on Flinders Street near South Dowling Street. Emergency services responded to reports of a stabbing, and it was discovered that a 35-year-old male passenger had been stabbed by a man unknown to him. The assailant fled the scene on foot.

The injured passenger received medical treatment from paramedics at the scene and was later taken to St Vincent’s Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police established a crime scene and began searching the surrounding area. The suspect was apprehended in Belmore Park at Haymarket, and a knife was seized.

The arrested individual has been taken to a police station to assist with the ongoing investigation. The authorities are continuing their inquiries into the incident.
