Telangana Athletes: Two superstars from Telangana, shooter Esha Singh, and boxer Hussamuddin, are getting big awards! Esha, who shoots guns super well, and Hussamuddin, who punches hard, both won the Arjuna Award for being awesome athletes.
Meanwhile, badminton stars Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty got the even cooler Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna award, which is the biggest sports prize in India!
Hussamuddin has already won a bunch of medals, including bronzes at the Commonwealth Games and World Championships. Esha is even younger, but she just made history by winning four medals at the Asian Games! She even almost went to the Olympics!
Other awesome athletes like cricketer Mohammed Shami, hockey players Krishan Bahadur Pathak and Sushila Chanu, and even more got Arjuna awards too! It’s a great day for Indian sports!
