The Khammam police have busted a fake currency note racket and seized the cash worth Rs 7 crore on Saturday. In a press conference, the police commissioner of Khammam, Iqbal said that the arrested have duped the people in Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Telangana on the pretext of offering money. “Five people have been taken into custody and eight others are absconding,” the CP added. Along with the cash, two cars were also seized from them. The CP also extended thanks to the police for busting the racket.
