The World Tour Tennis 15K ITF Futures, which were held in Davanagere on Thursday, saw Telangana tennis player Ganta Sai Karteek Reddy and his partner Manish Sureshkumar storm into the semifinals in the men’s doubles category.
To advance to the round of four, the Sai Karteek pair defeated Rishi Reddy and Raghav Singhania in straight sets, 6-3, 6-4, in the quarterfinal match. The two had defeated Australians Luke Sorensen and Mathew Woerndle 7-5, 6-2 earlier in the pre-quarterfinals.
Results: Ganta Sai Karteek Reddy/Manish Sureshkumar defeated Raghav Singhania/Rishi Reddy in the quarterfinals. 3–2, 4–3. Pre-quarterfinals: Matthew Woerndle and Luke Sorensen defeated Ganta Sai Karteek Reddy and Manish Sureshkumar. 6-2, 7-5.
