Telangana Tops In Growth Rate, KCR In Ecstasy

The Telangana Chief Minister has got a big reason to smile today. According to the list of results declared by CAG, Telangana tops the charts of high growth rate State across the Nation of India.The Comptroller and Auditor General of India declared that the newest State of Telangana recorded the average highest growth rate of 17.2% in the term of 2014 to 2018. In the released figures, Telangana which recorded the growth rate percentages 13.7%, 21.1 and 16.8 for the fiscal years of 2015-16, 2016-17 and 2017-18 respectively stood at the first place for its average sum compared to all other states of which generates their revenues independently from the State taxes.

After Telangana, the state Haryana stood at second place with a growth rate of 14.2% and Maharastra at third place with 13.9%. Odisha and West Bengal stood at fourth and fifth places with growth rates of 12.4% and 10.3% respectively.It is a quite stunning achievement for the TRS Government who took the governance for the first time.The CM of the top State declared that this achievement is the collective effort of their party leaders and Government employees who motivated the voters to pay taxes perfectly. Also, he praised the commitment of Telangana people in paying taxes to the Government. He pledged to repeat the same results for every fiscal year as long as TRS remains in Power. AP is unable to find its place in the top five despite having a senior most Chief Minister on the throne.
