It’s been a week since the release of the first-ever modern superhero movie in the Telugu film industry, “Hanu-Man.” The HanuMan Movie has become a massive hit both in India and abroad. In North America, directed by Prasanth Varma, it has made history by grossing over $3.5 million within just a week.
Thanks to its incredible success, “HanuMan Movie” has now entered the top 5 highest-grossing Telugu movies in the USA and Canada of all time. It’s ranked below only Baahubali 2 ($20.79M), RRR ($14.85M), Salaar ($8.92M), and Baahubali ($8.49M). The movie is still being shown in nearly 350 locations across North America and is collecting a little over $100K gross daily. The numbers are expected to rise over the weekend.
“Hanu-Man” was released overseas by Prime Show Entertainment and Nirvana Cinemas. Produced by Niranjan Reddy, the film features Teja Sajja, Amritha Aiyer, and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar in lead roles.
