Thammudu OTT Release Date Buzz – Netflix Premiere Likely on August 1
Actor Nithiin’s recent outing, Thammudu, may have disappointed at the box office, but the film is now preparing for its digital debut. As per the latest buzz in film circles, Thammudu is set to stream on Netflix starting August 1, 2025. While an official confirmation is yet to be made, the streaming date is already gaining traction online.
Directed by Venu Sriram and produced by Dil Raju, Thammudu released in theaters on July 4, 2025, and opened to mixed-to-poor reviews, turning out to be a commercial failure. The film, despite having a solid pre-release buzz, struggled to connect with the audience.

Despite the failure, Nithiin and Dil Raju are teaming up again for another project titled Yellamma. Directed by Venu Yeldandi of Balagam fame, the film will feature Keerthy Suresh as the female lead. Production is expected to begin in the coming months.
