OTT: Nithiin’s Thammudu Begins Streaming on Netflix in South Indian Languages
Thammudu, starring Nithiin and directed by Venu Sriram, is now available for streaming on Netflix. Produced by Dil Raju, the film was released in theatres last month but didn’t fare well at the box office. With its digital release, the makers are hoping to capture a wider audience online.
The film is now streaming in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada, making it accessible across South India. This multilingual availability is expected to boost its viewership in the OTT space.
Sapthami Gowda plays the female lead, while the ensemble cast also includes Laya, Swasika, Varsha Bollamma, and Saurabh Sachdeva in pivotal roles. Music is composed by Ajaneesh Loknath, adding emotional depth to the film’s dramatic narrative.
Despite an underwhelming theatrical performance, Thammudu might find a second wind with digital audiences looking for fresh regional content.
