Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi‘s Thandel are performing well at the box office. The action thriller, which was released on February 7, earned Rs 12.25 crore on Day 3, bringing its total earnings to Rs 35.85 crore, as reported by Sacnilk.
Directed by Chandoo Mondeti, the film saw a 62.07% Telugu occupancy on its first Sunday. Thandel is available in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi.
In the movie, Naga Chaitanya plays Raju, while Sai Pallavi plays Bujji Thalli. The antagonist role is played by Sundip R Ved, with supporting roles from Divya Pillai, Rao Ramesh, and Prakash Belawadi.
Produced by Bunny Vasu, Allu Aravind, and Koppineedi Vidya under Geetha Arts, Thandel tells the story of a fisherman crew from Srikakulam who get into trouble after mistakenly crossing Pakistani waters.
