Rebel Star Prabhas is currently occupied with the impending release of Adipurush, an Indian mythological film based on the Sanskrit epic Ramayana, penned by Valmiki.
The renowned Bollywood director, Om Raut, helms this movie, which is a pan-Indian production crafted simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu.
Prabhas portrays the character of Lord Rama, and Kriti Sanon essays the role of Sita in this epic. This grand-scale production is the most expensive Indian film ever made, and the filmmakers have unveiled some promotional material, including posters and a teaser that created a buzz on the internet.
As seen in the trailer, the storyline of Adipurush revolves around the famous incident from Ramayana where Sita is kidnapped by Ravana. The movie depicts the heroic and virtuous quest of Lord Rama to rescue Sita and uphold righteousness.
Om Raut has directed and written the screenplay for the film Adipurush, while T-Series, Retrophiles, and UV Creations have taken care of the film’s production values.
The music for the film is composed by Ajay-Atul. Along with Prabhas and Kriti Sanon, other actors such as Saif Ali Khan, Devdatta Nage, Sunny Singh, and Vatsal Sheth have played important roles.

Karthik Palani worked as the cinematographer for the film, while editing is done by Apurva Motiwale Sahai and Ashish Mhatre. Adipurush is all set to hit theaters on June 16, 2023, while a special premiere has been announced at the Tribeca Film Festival on June 13, 2023.
