Chandrababu Naidu has been detained based on applicable sections of the Indian Penal Code
Chandrababu Naidu, the leader of the Telugu Desam Party, was apprehended at approximately 6 am from R K Function Hall in Gnanapuram, Nandyala town, as part of an alleged investigation into the Andhra Pradesh Skill Development Corporation scam, according to state law enforcement on Saturday morning.
As a result of this development, several other TDP officials have been confined to their residences. Naidu’s arrest pertains to various sections of the Indian Penal Code, including Sections 120B (conspiracy), 420 (fraudulent inducement of property delivery), and 465 (forgery). Additionally, the Andhra Pradesh Crime Investigation Department (AP CID) has invoked the Prevention of Corruption Act in connection with his case.
