The number of Coronavirus cases in India is increasing by the day, and the severity of the virus along with it. Despite all the lockdown efforts, India is continuing to see a steady increase in the number of cases.
The total cases have now crossed the mark of 23,000, and the states of Maharashtra and Gujarat are the most affected, with the most number of cases in the country.
The nationwide lockdown has been extended till May 3rd, and there are chances that it will be further extended, if the intensity of the virus increases in the country. The state of Telangana has already extended the lockdown beyond May 3rd, to May 7th.
Nearly 149 containment zones have been identified in Hyderabad, and the residents of these zones are not even allowed to step out of their houses until the lockdown is lifted.
