Natural Star Nani’s latest action drama The Paradise is now playing in theatres and has opened to a strong response. The film has recorded the biggest opening of Nani’s career, with solid occupancy reported across premiere shows and Day 1. The advance bookings for Day 2 are also showing encouraging trends.
Trade estimates had suggested that The Paradise could target a worldwide gross of around Rs. 80 crore on Day 1, including premiere collections. If achieved, the figure would mark a significant opening for Nani and add another major milestone to his career.
Attention is now focused on the official figures from the makers. Strong opening numbers would further highlight the scale of audience interest surrounding Nani’s latest release. At present, the film’s Day 1 worldwide gross is being reported at around Rs. 75 crore, including premieres, although the final official figure is yet to be announced.
