Salman Khan‘s highly anticipated action-thriller “Tiger 3” failed to live up to expectations, marking a surprising setback for the YRF Spy Universe franchise. Despite the star power of Salman Khan and a cameo appearance by Shah Rukh Khan, the film’s box office performance fell short of the record-breaking success of its predecessors, “Ek Tha Tiger,” “Tiger Zinda Hai,” “War,” and “Pathaan.”
While the film managed to achieve a specific box office milestone, it fell significantly below the anticipated collections and failed to match the opening records of “Pathaan” and “Jawan.” This marks the first major disappointment for the YRF Spy Universe, which had previously established a string of commercial blockbusters.
Directed by Maneesh Sharma, “Tiger 3” stars Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, and Emraan Hashmi and was released in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil on November 12th.
