Su From So (Sulochana From Someshwara), the latest Kannada horror-comedy blockbuster, has captured audiences across languages. Directed by J. P. Thuminad, who also stars in the lead role, the film grossed over Rs. 120 crore at the box office, exceeding expectations for a small-budget production.
Following a highly successful six-week theatrical run, Su From So has now premiered on Jio Hotstar, with Telugu and Malayalam dubbed versions available alongside the original Kannada release. Fans who missed the theatrical screenings are eagerly checking out the film on OTT, making its digital reception highly anticipated.
Produced by Raj B. Shetty, who also plays a pivotal role, the movie features Shaneel Gautham, Sandhya Arakere, Prakash Thuminad, and others in key supporting roles. The soundtrack, composed by Sumedh K. and Sandeep Thulasidas, complements the film’s unique blend of horror and comedy.
Backed by Lighter Buddha Films, in association with Shree Devi Entertainers, the movie was made on a modest budget of Rs. 6 crore, proving that strong content and engaging storytelling can triumph over big-budget productions.
